Forged in the aftermath of a forgotten purge, the lightsaber of Darth Maligus was not built—it was claimed.

Maligus was once a Sith weapon-smith who believed sabers should outlive their masters. When the Sith Lords he served fell to betrayal, Maligus scavenged their broken hilts, cracked kyber shards, and scorched circuitry from the ruins of a derelict freighter drifting beyond known hyperspace lanes.

Inside that wreck, surrounded by smoking pipes and failing reactors, Maligus reforged the blade now known as Annihilator Maligus .

The saber’s kyber was overcharged and fractured—forced to bend through pain. When ignited, the blade burns red with unstable intensity, pulsing as if alive. Legends say the saber does not simply cut… it erases—leaving nothing but cauterized silence.

Maligus vanished after a single campaign. Entire outposts were found abandoned, metal melted, walls scarred by a blade that struck once and never needed a second swing.
